Where do I go to complete the W-4 and I-9?
If you are a new graduate assistant, you are required to complete a W-4 Form and I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form. Completion of the I-9 Form requires you to present documentation to the hiring department/office that establishes both identity and employment eligibility (see this link for a list of potential documents). Section 1 of the I-9 must be completed during the period between the day the offer of employment is made and the end of the first day of employment as specified on the appointment form.
