It’s a little more complicated than you might imagine… You need to mount a plate on your shoes, which is kind of an art-form in itself. You’ll need to call a rollerskate company to figure out what size and type of plate you will want – then you’ll need to order it, along with some mounting bolts and then mount the plate. You will also need “truck” setups, wheels and bearings (unless you already have all this stuff). As I say, it’s harder than just sticking some wheels on shoes…and not too cheap either…but worth it for a really unique pair of skates!
