Where does the child rest their feet while gliding?
The Strider has integrated foot rests near the rear tire for the child to rest their feet on while gliding forward. These foot rests have a surface that feels like sandpaper for better traction. Brand new and very young riders will probably not use these foot rests immediately, but as their confidence grows, the child will feel more comfortable placing their feet on the integrated foot rests. Since the Strider is so lightweight, it is easy for a very small child to maneuver around or over obstacles.
