Where does the name “BOBOLI” originate?
BOBOLI is named for Giardino di Boboli (Boboli Garden) located on the grounds of the Pitti Palace in Florence, Italy. The garden, built in 1549 by the ruling Medici Family, is open to the public and considered to be one of the world’s most inviting, with fountains, sculpture and shaded walkways. Not incidentally, the Boboli Garden is also considered to be one of the best places in the city for a picnic.
