Where does the “power” from magic spells come from?
That’s a good skeptical question, and shows the problems that crop up when you start thinking about the plausibility of such claims. You will not get any consistency in answers from believers, just whatever belief rationalizes best with their belief system. Take it a step further, ask where is the evidence that “spells” actually do anything. Well, there is no evidence at all beyond anecdotal. There is no hypothesis or theory in all science and physics including quantum, string or M theory that predicts any such powers. More likely it is just superstition, ancient prescience beliefs, delusion and cons. It has been tested over and over again with no compelling results. Trickery is the usual culprit.
