Where does the Recycling GO in the city of Everett?
• A field trip to see what actually happens to recycled items from those who live in the city. • Where does our TRASH go…. how about a field trip there too? • This way people will understand there is no place to really throw away STUFF! Where is AWAY? > Field trips can be arranged. • • C. More items need to be recycled. Some plastics and other items are not recycled in Everett but are in other places in Washington. So how can items that are marked recycle get to be recycled in Everett? • Who is the recycling pickup in Everett? • Do all in Everett recycle with the same pickup service? • Are all neighborhoods on recycling? D. What type of recycling goes on in the city for business in Everett? We had no one who had a business in the city in our group. We need to learn about how businesses recycle in Everett? • • E. What about items that can’t be recycled? E-Waste, Clothing, Furniture, etc…. • Education of resources needs to be made available so people know what to do with these items.
