Compared to most EU countries I’d say that the US ranks up about the same and maybe a little higher. The regulations in the US are about as strict but since it is a bit removed from the EU countries there is an easier way to stop bad food from entering the country. Inside the US food safety is pretty good. It is far from impeccable but that’s the same everywhere around the world. EU countries seem to focus a lot more on what they call “bio-products” which are organic foods ( vegetables and fruits ) while the typical american hardly gives a damn about those. However, that’s not really relate to food safety. Overall the US has quite strict regulations on what goes into the country and those regulations are safety driven. The EU also has strict regulations but those are economic and I personally don’t think that’s the best solution. As far as the rest of the world goes, food safety is a lot less regulated than in the US and the EU ( Canada has about the same regulations as the US ) and he
