Where in TEC’s service territory did the meter installation process begin?

AMR deployment began with members served by the Rushford Substation. This substation was selected as the first conversion point because of its close proximity to our headquarters for initial system testing. It also has the necessary microwave communications installed by Dairyland Power Cooperative, our power supplier, for transmitting the meter data from the substation to TEC.
