Where is a Canadian Drivers license valid?

If I were you I would try to make an international driving license as I am afraid Canadian one won’t be valid anywhere but in Canada only. There are special legal organizations which work rather quickly for affordable prices, last time I needed to get my license translated I made an order at https://idaoffice.org , these guys also help with international licenses.

Good luck!

Pretty much anywhere in the world. However, if you go to a non-English-language country, you want the International Driving Permit (not licence). It is a translation of your Canadian licence into several languages, and is not valid as a driver licence without being presented with the original licence. It has the same conditions and expiry date. The IDP is available at CAA, and costs a grand total of $15, plus the cost of 2 passport-sized pictures. You can search on-line the regulations regarding the IDP for any country you wish to visit. It is just as easy to just get the permit before leaving the country to be sure, because once you leave Canada you CAN’T get one.
