Where Is Bondi Beach In Sydney?
Bondi beach is famous suburban beach situated near Bondi, New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. It is placed in the eastern suburbs approximately seven kilometres from the mid city. It is quiet a well-known tourist attraction, and people generally visit this place throughout the year. Many Irish and British tourists tend to spend their Christmas holidays here. The 2000 Summer Olympics, beach volleyball competition was held at Bondi beach. A provisional stadium with a seating capacity of 10,000 people, another smaller stadium, two separate volley ball courts for warm up, and three other training courts were constructed at the Bondi beach for the tournament. Bondi beach is famous for hosting many events though out the year like, City To Surf Fun Run which is held every in August, then there is Flickerfest, Australia’s world famous short film festival held in January, the World Environment day held in the month of June and also Sculpture By The Sea which comes in the month of November.
