For furniture, I'd suggest Craigslist. You can find used furniture for cheap prices. There will be cheap new furniture on there too, but the quality is questionable. For housewares, the cheapest route would be garage sales or places where people drop off donations (NAM, Goodwill, Salvation Army). Storewise, I'd suggest Wal-Mart, Target, Tuesday Morning, and Marshalls. There is also "Bed Bath and Beyond." For linens, I like Overstock.
