Where is Havana in Cuba?
Located on the northern coast of the island of Cuba and facing the United States across the Straits of Florida, Havana is by far the largest city in the country, being home to around three million people. Straddling the Almendares River, the city was long known as the ‘Key to the New World’, with this strategic importance having blessed it with some stunning architecture and a vibrant cultural heritage.
