I am running apache2 on Ubuntu.  Can someone tell me where httpd.conf is that I’m supposed to edit?

On Ubuntu, httpd.conf is located in the directory /etc/apache2apache2.conf is also located in /etc/apache2.

The settings and file directory can help you can go to directory /etc/apache2 on your PC, and sometimes this type of httpd.conf can also be considered by typing help on your ubuntu command, if httpd appears onto one of your helpdesk lists then your vision of Ubuntu does run the apache.conf

httpd.conf: historically the main Apache2 configuration file, named after the httpd daemon. Now the file does not exist. In older versions of Ubuntu the file might be present, but empty, as all configuration options have been moved to the referenced  directories.
