Where is my 89 Cavalier leaking antifreeze coolant?
Sounds like a heater core is leaking. If you have a friendly mechanic that isn’t afraid of the unusual, try this: loosen the two heater lines under the hood that go to the inside core, place a small connector (piece of pipe) to the hoses and tighten. This will bypass the heater system with no effect on engine performance. WARNING: when the weather starts getting cold, it will get and stay just as cold inside the car until you get this fixed.
