Where is Sodium carbonate found?
Sodium carbonate is usually found in natural sources where it is dissolved in the waters of inland lakes called soda lakes. It also occurs in some salt beds and some hydrated forms of this compound is manufactured. It is found in large natural deposits and is then mined, for example in Wyoming. It is also found in automatic dishwashing soaps, some antacids, some bleaches some bubble bath solutions, some steam iron cleaners and Clinitest.
