Under driver’s seat. You only need to remove the two silver triple-square bolts to “swivel” the seat back. You may have to remove the seat frame trim at the rear to keep from damaging it when the seat is tilted. There is an auxiliary battery in the rear on some models. It is used primarily for starting, while the main battery runs the electronics during normal operation. If your car is slow to start, it may be the rear battery that is causing it (if equipped). It would have to be isolated to test it properly. There are charging posts in the engine compartment, on the driver’s side. The power steering reservoir sits between the posts. These batteries are expensive to replace, but six-seven years of working is pretty good as far as batteries today go.
