Where is the Best 18 & Over Club in Denver, Colorado?
I read a description of the place and I’m still looking for the “European style.” I agree with others that the nite staff is friendlier than the day staff. Even though all our bags were with us at check-in (after a couple trips to bring them in), they didn’t offer or mention anything about helping us carry the bags up the stairs. The room smelled like musty bad cologne. We bought air freshener to make it tolerable and left our clothes in the suitcases so they wouldn’t smell weird. The room was on the corner of the 3rd floor and had a queen bed, bathroom with tub/shower, a decent walk-in closet, and a furnished kitchenette. When I read a review that said it was like visiting great-grandma’s house, I thought that pretty much summed it up. The door is pretty flimsy, the key will only lock the handle & NOT the deadbolt, and lets all the noise in. So, I usually go out of town to visit with my girlfriends and “go out”. This time, my best friend was headed up here and since we weren’t exactly wanting the club scene, I wasn’t sure where to go! We DID however, want club music and seeing the previous reviews about this place I decided to give it a go.I loved the music, the DJ was fantastic. Everything he played was exactly what I wanted to hear and didn’t know it – haha. It was loud, but not too loud – I could still hear what my friends were saying.The atmoshphere was wonderful, the lighting great, the seating very social. It was small and cramped, which sucked, but what are you gonna do – they did the best with what they had. Our waitress was such a sweetpea!My only real gripes were not enough people, not a good range of people and not clearly marked.
