We cannot get enough of it, when you choose right. I’ve had a couple of other courses, but the best are the steak dishes. Do not ask for seafood pasta, it is not their thing, but steak, steak they know. My favourite is the steak Anthony. You get a soup/salad and a huge side dish. I just love it, and even more when the bill comes! I know they do not serve the best part of the tenderloin (they serve the tip instead of the filet mignon) but it makes no difference. The service is so so, depending on who you get. It is not a place to go for a romantic dinner, but you sure can have a hell of a great meal with friends. I hear for lunch is also good, but I cannot comment on it because I have never been there for it,Pros + steak anthonyCons – service

From the minute you walk through the doors to the Falcon Diner at Ameristar, you feel like you’ve stepped back in time to the 50’s. The spacious diner offers homestyle favorites such as fried chicken meatloaf alongside more modern offerings like the superb Oriental Chicken Salad. Breakfast items, especially the skillets, are top notch; and the bakery case provides mouth-watering snacks 24 hours a day. Also be sure to try the Vanilla Latte at the specialty coffee bar, which isevery bit as good as Starbucks. Can sometimes be a bit crowded, but the food and service are well worth your time and money!Pros + Variety, Value, Friendly ServersCons – Sometimes crowded, Sometimes loud

Well, I had Hodak’s again. My coworker was nice enough to grab some food for carry out, and I decided to go with the chicken strip dinner this time. Oh my goodness, did I make the right choice! For a…

I live in StC so we get to the Trailhead about 2-3 times a year. The dinners are okay, the burgers are very good, but the battered fish and appetizers are especially good-esp the barbecue chicken pizza (bbq sauce, chicken breast, red onions and cheese on thinnish crust-awesome, esp with beer!). And the portions sizes are filling for the price. I only drink the blonde ale, which is very good (like BudLight/Select only more robust), so I can’t tell you about their other beers. The service is sometimes slow…but that’s not necessarily unique to the Trailhead-ALL the restaurants in old StC are slow. Some more than others. I would rate the Trailhead’s service as above average on slowness and quality compared to the other restaurants in its class in the area. It seems the restaurants in old StC either want you to have a dining experience or they don’t employ enough wait staff. So keep time in mind when you visit any restaurant in old StC. The Trailhead gets unbelievably crowded on the weeke
