Where is the Best Auto Repair in Detroit, Michigan?
Skip and Paul have a wealth of experience. They troubleshoot issues that baffled other shops. They honestly pointed out the $16 fix to the problem, while other shops suggested hundreds of dollars of possible repairs. Their estimates are competitive. November 2005 Update: Good deals on bad repairs. Had to bring the car back three times for the same problem, on two occasions. Finally gave up on fixing the squeaky noise from the rear suspension, after paying to install new shocks, new mounts, etc. Their shop can’t even do an oil change properly: had to hand tighten the oil filter after it leaked in the garage. When they fixed the rear brake drums, could not adjust the parking brake properly, after three tries. Had to go to the dealer to complete the repair.Pros + LocationCons – Attitude

During the call, I was asked for the Make/Model/Year and engine size of my car and was quoted the cost of labor and parts around $205. Since this was on a Saturday, I asked if I should make an appointment for Monday and he said that wasn’t necessary.Monday came; my car was towed with me following (the towing company’s policy). I dropped off the keys and returned home (2 hours round trip). Later, I received a call from the manager, he said that I needed a new belt and track tensioner – which I already knew – and said that the total for this repair was $320. What?! I questione
