Where is the Best Auto Repair in New York, New York?
It seems counter-intuitive to go to an auto repair place just outside Tribeca (and just north of the financial district) to find trustworthy, reasonably priced, Mercedes Benz service — but Chander Auto is great. My dealings have been mostly with Derrick, but I’ve met his brother once and they’re both great. Derrick frequently gives customers his own cell phone number so they can call him directly with questions and concerns. He knows you. He knows your car. I have no idea how he remembers everything. He simply loves what he does. it shows.My car is an older Benz. I’ve found that Derrick knows these cars better than most of the “kids” at dealerships in NYC and NJ. In addition to his wealth of knowledge, he’s a great guy and I’ve found him to be completely trustworthy. His hourly mechanic’s rates are equal to or less than those at dealerships and other garages I’ve visited. Tom’s corner has got to be the #1 auto repair shop in the world!!! this place is awesome. when you pick up your car after it has been worked on, you dont feel like you have been ripped off. you walk out of Tom’s office confident and at east because you know he fixed the car!!! he can basically do any kind of mechanical work needed!!! This is the best auto repair place I’ve ever been to. The people there are completely honest. Often they will give discounts on expensive repairs. They do an amazing job on your car. They even have a room you can wait and watch TV while they repair your car.One thing to be careful of. DO NOT PULL INTO THEIR DRIVEWAY!!!! You park outside, they will come to find out what is wrong with your car, and test drive it when needed.
