Where is the Best Bar Menu in Nashville, Tennessee?

My Nashvillian friend definetly built up some great expectations from The Family Wash. It is located in quite an off-the-beaten-track location. Parking is very limited, and we chose to parallel park in the adjacent neighborhood. It was a Friday night around 7pm when we arrived. There were several other patrons, although it was not full. The entrance opens to a foyer with seating area and host podium. We were greeted by a tall, quirky gentleman who was very pleasant and sat us quickly. I usually do not prefer to be seated in the center of the room, but the dining area was so cozy I had no qualms with our 2-top in the center of the room.It is a small, welcoming dining area with an old, paraphernalia-covered bar/kitchen to the right of the room. There is a small stage at the rear of the room with the restrooms to the far right. Everything had that mismatched, worn-in feeling like grandma’s house. Regardless of the small bar, there is quite a selection of beers. The menu is short and sweet

don’t get me wrong, I like Mafiaoza’s, but it really isn’t because of the pizza. Tuesday two for one is pretty enticing. But it is hard to get excited about the pizza. two things that make great pizza to me are the crust and sauce. mafiaoza’s has great crust, but the sauce really lacks, the last couple of pizza’s I got barely had any at all. A friend ordered the buschetta and it came as a big loaf of bread with the tomatoes just poured over the top. Not really appetizing. For happy hour go to Mafiaoza’s, but for Pizza go to Angelos Picnic Pizza.

I’ve been going to The Cat for at least 2 years, and it use to be a weekly stop for me and my boyfriend. However the incredible Chicken Sandwich has gone from French bread to Wonder bread and you definately no longer want to order to go food! We use to order out from there ALL the time and last 3 or 4 times we have, it’s been a real disappointment. We had nachos with stale chips and they tried to give me ranch dressing with the jalepeno corn cakes when it ALWAYS comes with cheese dip, and when i called back they told me that it always came with ranch?!?! I was so annoyed that we still stop by occassionally when we can’t think of anywhere else to go, but it’s no longer our favorite spot. (and we definately don’t order out here either)Pros + cool spot with outdoor seating and good food conceptsCons – recent execution of menu

OK, so I’m not going to sit here and tell you that this place is so good that you practically deficate your britches, but I think this is a solid lunch joint. They have decent selections for the price. Sure, the parking situation makes you want curse your brains out, but hey, this is Nashville. Parking is awful everywhere here, and it’s nothing a few peach belinis can’t take care of. Anyway, there’s something latently delightful about the passive-aggressive waitstaff. Clad in black and covered in Wicka tattoos, it’s apparent most of them never grew out of the Emo phase. However, waiters are quick both in service and wit. Never a dull conversation. While I wouldn’t recommend the biscuits (those puppies are canned), they have a killer fried-green tomato BLT. The pannini options are kind of predictable, but good. I thought the pannini was dead along with portabello mushrooms, green bell peppers, and salmon cooked on a wood plank. However, the very sandwich that Panera Bread b

I actually live in Nashville and just stayed here for the sake of having a romantic night away from home. Therefore, I can say that maybe for a simple solo business trip this might not be the best choice. However, if all you want is a luxurious weekend and have the ability to splurge a little bit then this is an excellent choice! The staff is very accomodating. I made a special request on an online form and received multiple emails from the concierge about it beforehand. The bathtub is a great size and you can watch tv while relaxing which I really enjoyed. They offer a few different pillow selections- including buckwheat which you don’t see very many places. The room was very large and included a small sitting area. There was a problem with the TVs which isn’t a huge deal to me because I have the same problem at home. The hotel has Directv box there is no Directv box in the room with the tv so the channels are strange and do not match the in-room channel guide. For the price
