I’m a huge Boscos fan, although I usually go to the Franklin location, now that it’s closer. When I lived near Hillsboro, I was there 3-4 times a week. The beer is always great. The Flaming Stone is unique (although not my taste), the IPA is fantastic (and even better in the cask), and the dark beers are always great: Isle of Skye, London Porter, Schwarzbier. The food, however, is merely OK. The pizzas are a nice complement to the beer, and should be only considered bar food. I wouldn’t consider Boscos for a romantic night out for an entree. They do upper-scale bar food, but lower-scale entrees. Stick to the pizzas and the sandwiches and you’ll be fine. The portabella club is great, and the ribeye sandwich is superb. The salads are pretty good too. On the flip side, the tamale is a turd, as is the calzone. Most of the appetizers are very good, with the exception of the spinach dip. It used to be the best spinach artichoke dip I’d ever eaten, but they changed the recipe ab

Maybe it was the strange location (former insurance office) or the dark black and wine exterior, but there was nothing about Tayst’s nondescript building that enticed me to visit. I’m sorry that it has taken me four years.Tayst was a very pleasant surprise featuring excellent service, intriguing tasty menu choices featuring local produce and an outstanding wine menu. As we all know there are a lot of little things that can make or break a restaurant experience and Tayst was no exception. After being seat next to the air conditioner vent, we requested a new table. The waiter pleasantly moved us to our table of choice with a smile and an apology. Our water Mateo was knowledgeable and attentive but not to the point of annoying. Staff seemed willing and able to do whatever they could to make your dining experience pleasant.Food was expertly paced. I never felt rushed or was waiting. We started with the beignets and crawfish. Excellent! We then followed with salads followed by two main

For all the hype and the social agenda of The Palm, I personally was not impressed. We had dinner there with three other couples and I can say the service was good and we had a great time because of the company. For the prices I would have expected the quality and originality of the food to be much better. For the price there are many more restaurants with more personality and flavor. I will say I was introduced to Chocolate Martinis at The Palm (they do have an excellent Chocolate Martini!) and I am now hooked on this delicious cocktail!Pros + Chocolate Martini, serviceCons – Value

I actually live in Nashville and just stayed here for the sake of having a romantic night away from home. Therefore, I can say that maybe for a simple solo business trip this might not be the best choice. However, if all you want is a luxurious weekend and have the ability to splurge a little bit then this is an excellent choice! The staff is very accomodating. I made a special request on an online form and received multiple emails from the concierge about it beforehand. The bathtub is a great size and you can watch tv while relaxing which I really enjoyed. They offer a few different pillow selections- including buckwheat which you don’t see very many places. The room was very large and included a small sitting area. There was a problem with the TVs which isn’t a huge deal to me because I have the same problem at home. The hotel has Directv box there is no Directv box in the room with the tv so the channels are strange and do not match the in-room channel guide. For the price
