Where is the Best Bar Menu in New Orleans, Louisiana?

my friend and i visited the bombay club when we were staying at the prince conti hotel during our spring break trip. we had a truly great experience. i ordered the fish and chips and was not disappointed. they have a really extensive martini selection and our bartender was great and recommended drinks for us even though we werent even sitting at the bar. ( and he didnt just recommend the 12 dollar martinis either) i would have to recommend this restaurant for anyone who just wants a low key dinner in a nice quiet place with a wonderful courtyard as well. Pros + nice bar area with a wide selectionCons – a little pricey.

From Thanksgiving to New Years is my favorite time to be in New Orleans. Most restaurants, including the Pelican Club, have a fixed price menu that includes an amuse bouche ( a little appetite teaser like a broiled scallop or a stuffed mushroom cap), a soup or salad, an entree ( my favorite here is the filet mignon, always done to perfection), coffee, dessert, and a little langniappe ( a little something extra, here at the Pelican Club it is a rich eggnog loaded with Southern Comfort).

This is the place where I met all of my friends in NOLA, where I watched the RedSox win the series, where I consumed the BEST roast beef po boys night after night, where I drank guinness, where I had fun. After moving away from New Orleans, the one thing that I miss with all my heart is the greatness of P’Sols. If you live in New Orleans and have not yet been, you don’t know what you are missing. If you plan on visiting new orleans as a tourist, do yourself a favor and get out of the quarter and get to the Irish Channel for a real bar. Oh yeah, this place is small, not so clean, but oh so fun…. Pros + Great staff!Cons – small, dirty and we wouldn’t want to change it….
