Where is the Best Beach Bar in Los Angeles, California?

Hi! I am the owner of “On the Waterfront Cafe” and I am very sorry to see the review of chrisben337.July 3rd was the busiest Monday we ever had in the past 12 years! Also on Monday the Restaurant doesn’t open before noon, since it is cleaning day (except holydays). I wonder if chrisben337 got there before noon and out of a courtesy we offered him a seat before we where open. Anyway, I am not looking for excuses, we where understaffed in the beginning of the day, because we had never expected to be so busy. Please feel free to compare our prices with any other Restaurant in the area, we are very competitive! Also do we offer European items you will not find anywhere else. And try to find a 17oz. Happy-Hour European-Draft-Beer for $ 3.00 in town.If you want to write me back, please feel free to visit our webpage and send me an e-mail or call me 310-392-0322. Sincerely, Stefan Bachofner

If you can stand the plethora of TVs with sports on them, or the blaring rock music playing, you can certainly enjoy one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in a bar. The wings were awesome, the fries were like In N Out’s (awesome!) and the burgers were delicious! The wings burnt the hell out of our mouths, but that’s how we liked em. Of course I nearly went deaf/mute from all the screaming across the table to my friend, but go somewhere else to talk.Pros + Delicious burgers, Affordable, Spicy ass wings!Cons – LOUD AS HELL, Very crowded, Slow service

I love this place. Although, in the evening, it seems like more of a bar than a restaurant. If you’re looking for a later evening quiet meal, this is not the place. Been for lunch, and dinner many times. The food has always been outstanding, although a little on the pricey side. I also have enjoyed the bar on many occasions. The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgable and attentive. There is no attitude here. I like the mix of people. You’ve got some snooty SM and some crazy Venice and all different ages. It’s a diverse crowd and almost always an interesting night. The atmosphere is great..it’s like upscale beachy casual. Where else can you walk in off the beach in flip-flops and dine off of white linen? It can also be a very romantic place for dinner for two. There’s also seating for smokers. Just be warned, once night-time kicks in, the bar will pick up. That’s just the nature of the beast. Definitely a cool place. One of my all-time favorites.Pros + Great atmosph

Definitely go upstairs at this excellent place to view a sunset, order a well drink and possibly an appetizer. The food isn’t why you go…it’s the crowd. Be sure to wear your sunglasses for two reasons…1) The sun will be right in your eyes and 2) You’ll be so busy checking out the clientele you won’t want to get caught. This is also a good place to have a drink before a night at C&O’s just across the street.Pros + Sunset View, Close to Beach, Good People WatchingCons – Crowded, Questionable Service

Unprofessional service and expensive. Rude waiters. We were very bad treated in this place. For sure our worse experience in one month vacation in the usa.
