We were here for the first time after reading the reviews, and although this is not the best location in the city, the inside is warm and romantic. They had good lounge type music, and about 5 tables in the early evening where we were there. I normally like to sit at the bar, but with 4 of us in the group, we decided for a table on the side. This gave us a great view of there Sushi Cam that shows the chefs making sushi live on TV. This was very clever and we have not seen anything like this. We started with the recommended seared tuna ($9), and when it arrived it was served by one of the chefs who actually seared right there at the table! We had a quick lesson on different sakes and decided on something in the middle, about $20 for the sake. It was good, even though I’m not a big fan of sake, but if you are into something different, get the flavored sake. We had the chilled raspberry sake by the glass ($6). The best item has to be the Red Dragon roll, a tuna roll with tuna sa

If you aren’t already in awe of the ambiance as you walk through the doors of Disney’s Animal Kingdom lodge or taken by the animals roaming free outside the windows, you will definitely complete your awe struck experience by eating at Boma. You couldn’t find a wait staff that is more friendly that will explain the different cusine presented in a buffett style setting…. No, this isn’t your typical macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and meatloaf type of buffett.. its much more eclectic and grandiose sprinkled with a little bit of magic that you would expect from the chefs at the happiest place on earth. The buffet transports your palette to a continent that your mouth has probably not explored before. If you celebrating a special occassion call ahead for reservations and let the staff know of any event you planning to celebrate at Boma. Even if you aren’t celebrating anything, reservations are highly recommended as it is quite the place to eat for the good food and ambiance

Salad, main course, and dessert for $4 is hard to beat. Where else can you do that? The staff is very friendly and if you don’t see the kind of pizza you want the will make it for you and deliver it to your table. The salad is basic, the pizza is good, the pasta is mediocre but the cinnamon rolls are to die for. Not much for atmosphere (usually lots of kids) and can be noisy at times but great for a family on a budget. You won’t leave hungry.Pros + Very inexpensive, Friendly, Cinnamon rollsCons – No atmosphere, Can be noisy

I took my family with 3 kids under age of 10 for lunch this weekend and we all loved it.. Authentic food much like my mother in law made, she is Persian. All dishes I tried were terrific. No problem anywhere, we enjoyed everything we ate and the service was friendly and told us of the belly dancers on the weekends nights but sort of loud for kids, they warned us. Can not go wrong at Ali Baba, …the food is so good I actually crave it! I did buy a cookbook and ingredients at the grocery section and am going to try to make SHIRIN Polo as that rice dish is to die for! My kids love it too. They eat a variety off the buffet with no fussing. My 7 yr old swears by the Koubideh Kabob, may have to try to make that one also. We had not been to Ali Baba in a while and find it to be just as good as ever, it is our favorite for Persian and Middle Eastern Foods. We are from Los Angeles area and miss the Persian places but Ali Baba has filled that void!Pros + Best food, variety, tastes homemad
