Where is the Best Boiled Crawfish in Houston, Texas?
I would recommend Floyd’s Cajun Seafood to anyone – including the pickiest of picky eaters! Even when they are packed to a level of standing room only, the service is exceptional and the food is always spot-on delicious. My favorites here include the crab bisque and the crawfish. I have eaten bisque at a lot of different places, but Floyd’s always rises leaps and bounds above the rest. I was reminded of this last night when I ate some that was sub-par at a different restaurant. ((my mistake!)) My family LOVES their outrageously fresh oysters on the half shell too. When it comes to Floyds, I do not mind if I have to wait 30-45 minutes for a table – it is ALWAYS well worth it. If you haven’t been to visit “Dawg” ((you’ll meet him when you get there, and he’s always wearing golf shoes!)) get over there. You are truly missing out on a cajun gem! Pros + Authentic, Delicious, Memorable, and a COMPLETE stand-out!Cons – yeah right
Read reviews from citysearch and thought going there for their crawfish special. Service is quick except when seating, no one helps. Waitress comes to us within couple minutes and bring drinks right away. recommend us happy hour specials. very nice. crawfish is great and spicy. We also had a chich philli cheese and it is the best chick sandwich we ever had. Food comes to table quick. I love the menu and the daily specials are always great. Everything I have had has been cooked to perfection. I’m pretty critical. The food is phenomenal.You don’t want to miss it! WOW, this is some of the BEST crawfish I have ever eaten, HOWEVER, the lady that works behind the counter (sometimes as a waitress) it the nastiest, rudest person I have ever come across. She has been rude to me on several occassions, and I have seen her do the same to countless others, including coworkers! Last week, when I politely asked if I could order an additional lb of crawfish, she actually told me No bc she felt it would take too long!!! I have also seen customers get fed up and yell at her, and others that get so frustrated they just leave! I LOOOOVVVVE their crawfish, so I will return, however you should expect a hard time from the cashier girl! This should be addressed by the management!Pros + Great food, and the other waiters, reasonable prices!Cons – The cashier’s awful attitude!
