ok. it rockedi was headed to the tattoo shop a ways down to get pierced and found out they didnt do piercings anymore but they said go to the rock and roll emporium down the sidewalk a bit. so we went. i went to get both nipples pierced and my toungue done as well as my bfs tongue donemy bf went first . no prob awesome job to the guy piercer. i have a bad problem i faint when a dentist works on my mouth. this applied to my tongue piercing as well. i felt NO pain at the piercing it was VERY comfortable i just always pass out when it has to do with my mouth.so anywaythey took VERY good care of me when i did faint though i forgot to tell them i would. gave me something to eat and drink- items they normally sell to customers – for free….. . asked me ifi i wanted a refund for the nipple piercings bc they didnt know if i wanted to go through with them or not…….but i said no go ahead . i would faint today or two weeks from today. and after all i knew i only fainted with oral. th

Even though I was warned by many to avoid this attitude ridden store, I went to Sloan last week. Of course, like the shopper above, I was treated deplorably by a salesclerk. Mind you, the other salesclerks were nice, but the older one with brown hair and the ponytail hairpiece was awful! Needless to say, whoever picks their items does a fantastic job. I had no problem finding something fabulous to wear. However, their jewelry items are so over-priced it is a joke. They may as well call it the easy target section instead. The shoe section upstairs has an unbelievable selection of shoes but some of them you can find online at the various department stores for more than half off so research before you buy! I would recommend this store but the owner should be mindful of who she hires in the future because she has lost and will continue to lose business otherwise.Pros + great clothes, bags, and shoesCons – salesclerks, overpriced jewelry

I absloutely love Boris + Natasha. I make sure that I take my new to town or out of town friends in there whenever we get the chance. It reminds me of the LA fashion scene, where I am from. Eclectic, versatile, unique pieces that you won’t find at the mall. I am in love with their jewelry, but I am more in love with the shoes. I only wish they had a larger selection of shoes and bags. I’m a big girl, so the clothes are beautiful but not in my size. However, the staff is always helpful and nice to chat with. This is one of the fashion gems in Charlotte, I recommend a visit to anyone inerested in clothes that are individual and new!Pros + Great atmosphere, different labels, nice staff, layaway.Cons – Parking depending on the day. Sizes are limited.

I recently came in to drop off some clothing for consignment and had such a great experience that I had to share it. The store may be small but the selection was enormous! They accept only high-end brand names (Seven jeans, Susana Monoco, True Religon, Tocca, Cynthia Steffe, etc.) which takes away the need to ” sift through” to find the good stuff. And their St. John collection is to die for. They have a better selection than the actual store! The owners are a sister team, Jenny and Amy, and are just as darlin as can be! The relaxed atmosphere is such that you feel as though you were “shopping” through a friend’s closet. I think that’s what sets them apart for some of the other “high end” consignments shops that I’ve been to in the past. I’m probably the only one in the world who comes to bring in clothes for consignment and walks away with more than I came in with! Definately a place to shop, consign, or just make new friends! Pros + Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere,
