Where is the Best Boutique in Denver, Colorado?
I was having dinner at Teds Montana Grill (great restaurant!) when my wife spotted a dog store across the street on Larimer Square. There was no keeping her away, so we went in and found the coolest store for dog stuff ever. I couldn’t believe the selection! Luckily, I was holding the credit card because she has been known to go crazy in these types of situations. There was so much unique product that I found myself giving up the card and spoiling our dogs like we never have before. The house dogs kept the kids company and we really had a good time shopping there. They also offer grooming and a blueberry facial, whatever that is!The owner seemed really informed about pet nutrition and sold us some organic food that the dogs ended up loving.I very much recommend this place.Pros + selection of collars, sports jerseys, fun atmosphere, nice people workingCons – parking downtown is brutal
Where to even start…plan to spend an afternoon here! There are so many little treasures and fantastic curiousities to discover. If you’ve got one of ‘those’ to buy for…the person who has everything – you’re sure to find something here that they’ve never even heard of! If you’re a creative person, this place will move even the most stubborn blocks! Jewelry, toys, home decor, stationary…wow!Pros + allCons – none
I stop by Swank often and every time am greeted with great service, stylish new clothing options and great gift ideas. Each time I get something new there and wear it, someone asks me where it is from and wants to head over to Swank. I love this boutique! They manage pull together a unique variety of apparel from brands such as Free People & Velvet, accessories that you won’t find elsewhere and super cute housewares & gifts. I would say this store is like an Indie-Anthropologie. You can always find a special gift for a girlfriend (or for yourself) in this store. I never leave empty handed!My only complaint is the staff. They are not at all friendly and not at all helpful. Everytime I go into Decade, I never leave empty handed… but I just have to think how much more business they would do if their staff was actually on top of things. I’ve rarely ever been asked if I need help or if I have any questions. I feel like they view customers as if they’re doing them a favor by letting them shop in their store. I say fire the staff and start over! Or if the owners are part of the staff… maybe bring someone in that has actual customer service experience to teach sales techniques and just common courteousey.
