Costco has discriminating hours for thier high-volume business customers, closed to the “public” in the early AM. Just after 9 in the morning on weekdays is the best time to do your shopping there, as most people congest parking and checkout lanes after 11 (just before the lunch rush). I have still not seen “10 items or less” or “self checkout”, because that is Costco’s policy: is how they discourage you to buy less (any business would. If you know what you came to buy, don’t have a cart, and don’t want to wait 10-30 minutes standing in line, go to the return line / membership desk and ask to be checked out. Membership is not needed to buy from the food court either.Pros + buying in bulk is a good policy, it promotes sharing with the neighbors!Cons – you need a truck to take home your purchases, and additional storage at home, even if you don’t get plastic-happy

Last week, I bought a used Benz. There are some light scratches on the hood and near by the door. I did some research for the best place for detailing my car and to remove those scratches. After some research, I decided to use Derek’s detail to do the job.I call them on Friday and tell them to quote me the price the for full details (exterior + interior), clean up the engine and remove light scratches on my car. I talked to a guy named Alex and he quote me $250 at first. I told him it’s $189 on the website plus you can get $15 discount if you bring the print-out from their website. He told me since my car have scratches, he has to charge extra since more work required for removing scratches (wet sand, etc.) but since I’m a new customer and want me to try their service, he reduced the price to $200 and I agreed. I made an appointment for the next day which is the day I wrote this review.I bring my car to them the following day, show them where are the scratches and then drop off the

I have been going to this car wash for the last 4 years. They changed ownership 2 years ago and in that time I have seen this place get really focused on the customer and clean up their image with good prices and more wash packages to choose from. Not only are their gas prices cheaper than AM/PM a lot of the time, but their service and attention to the customer needs is right on. I decided to get my Escalade detailed there two weeks ago. They offer 4 different Detail Packages with different services to add on, their price I found to be extremely competitive and much cheaper than the normal Detail Salon, the quality of their work was great and my SUV looks like new again. They even had a mint and a free car wash ticket waiting for me on the seat. Hope they keep up the good work for this returning customer!Pros + Fast, Efficient, Friendly, English Speaking, Cute guys!Cons – If waiting a little longer for good service is a con, then so be it!
