Where is the Best Dance Club in Denver, Colorado?
Stampede is a fun, inexpensive place to go, not to mention a great workout! A lot of the line dances (which I prefer to couples dances) are complex and exhausting, and really get your heart pumping. One word of caution, though- try to take advantage of the line-dancing lessons offered Wednesday nights before trying the dances out on the floor with everyone else. Some of the regulars there, particularly the women, are real snobs and will literally push you out of the way if they feel you’re getting too close or turning the wrong way. It kind of turns what is supposed to be a fun bar experience into a competitive dance sport. I have actually gotten into several fights with people like this over line dances, but then again, what’s a country bar without a barroom brawl? The best things about the Church Nightclub: The venue itself, Though a lesser copy of Limelite in New York, this is stilla great big club with a strong sound sytem and good lighting system. The multi rooms full of different music is a definite plus. I also like that they moved the main dancefloor’s DJ booth from way up high where you couldn’t see anything, to the dancefloor level itself. The Con to that, When I went to see Diplo perform, people nearly tore his laptop down and both his laptop and his phone kept moving around because of the Bass. The booth is better where it is but needs some improvements. One it needs a bar or a glass barrier to keep dumb asses away from the DJ and the equipment and two it needs an edge/lip around the entire shelf on both sides to keep the DJs drinks, phone and anything else they put on it from falling down due to the bass rumble. The main floor DJs are usually major acts brought in from around the world and generally do a good job. Diplo was dope,
I was in Denver in Sept and had the priviledge of going to the club.I,and my friends had a great time.The music was great and the drinks were off the chain.As far as earlier comment made by those people who didn’t know Darrent,and have NO respect for him or his family,don’t know the details as to the why,”keep his name oucha mouth.”It only takes an absolute idiot to say things you know NOTHING about!!!You obviosly weren’t blessed with his smile and must be only jealous of those of us that did.So in retaliation,you make stupid remarks!!!Do you have nothing to do?You’re the ones we see going home from the clubsALONE!!And now ya know WHY!!!Pros + band was great,drinks were great,the company was great!!!Cons – NONE
Beta Sucks, It doesn’t allow lights any more. It is like a shoebox, it is really small and they pack a lot of people in there. Before thinking of the fun and comfort of its guests they oversell past capacity. This means that you will have jerks constantly pushing on you while u are trying to enjoy the concert. Everyone in that atmosphere is rude. This review comes from going to 3 concerts there recently. They don’t deserve to have all the top artists there. They have a good sound system, but it is overseen by the rest of the annoying problems. The staff and security are very up tight even if you are not creating a problem. Instead of going to see Tiesto or Paul Van Dyk go see a talented DJ at the Church or the Vinyl instead.
