Where is the Best Deli in Seattle, Washington?
My wife and I love this place. The atmosphere could not be better and is somewhat trendy yet very comfortable. Usually busy, but the wait is never long. Food is very good, not the best in the world but very good. I love all the bread choices for the french toast!Also, to the reviewer that said to bring a white friend if you are not most of the waitresses and staff aren’t white you idiot. This place also does not have a small town mindset it feels more like you are in Seattle than Kent. One more thing, they have about ten waitresses at all times so the one waitress thing sounds like BS to me.
Went for dinner with friends on a Saturday. No reservations and seated within minutes. The food here is fabulous! Especially the desserts! The waitstaff needs to be more sophisticated. Biggest complaint: the layout. The tables across from the kitchen/bus station need more privacy! Needs a screen or a 4’0 partition wall. The entryway needs a screen or an angled wall to give the tables on the right as you walk in some privacy. Chairs could be put on the other side of the screen/wall for folks to sit while waiting for table. The entryway needs a hostess stand….doesn’t have to be big. I think if you re-worked the layout you could even get a couple more tables in.Dear Owners: You really have something special going here! But please, take a cue from Ovio Bistro’s old space…..those folks really did a great job with the layout in that little spot.Pros + Food, Value, ParkingCons – Ambiance, Room Layout, Service
