One of the few bars in this town that serves Bekerovka (not sure if I spelled it right), so I keep coming back on that alone. However, The Twighlight has super good food as well. The pulled pork, the burgers (haven’t ventured to the peanut butter bacon, but it has super cult status) the fried chicken for your incredible bar food -but what people DON’T realize is that The Twighlight has one of the best cobb salads in town!Weekend brunch is perfect for those with a huge need to stay away from the sun and eat mammoth amounts to cure their hangover, just be aware that you’ll be waiting a while before the food comes (the bloody mary is served instantly though).One of my favorite spots in Seattle.Pros + stiff drinks, good booze selection, incredible foodCons – waiting for brunch with a headache

It’s hard not to form an opinion of the place – one way or the other – afterdrinking a few cans of Rainier there. I had my first beer at the Blue Moon back in ’88. Ordering was verytricky depending on which bartender was working. Most didn’t take a lot of guff, and would ignore you if you rubbed them the wrong way.Anyway, the place was kind of dirty and dark, with small hidden booths andback rooms. The patrons could be mind numbingly drunk. There could be a 2hrgame of 8 ball going on at the pool table.The city has been trying to close it down for years, and they’ve always failed.Thank God.

In a place like Mecca, I expected frozen mozzerella sticks and greasy fries…but its exactly the opposite! They have my most favorite fries in the world — they’re brown and crisp and you get a ton of ’em for cheap. My standard is the club sandwich: thick cut bacon. I also like the tuna melt & dig the cole slaw. Oh! Oh! And the open faced turkey sandwich is better than my mom’s Thanksgiving bird and comes on homemade egg bread, with mashers and genuinely good gravy, and really good cranberry sauce with actual chunks of cranberry. Dont stray from the greasy spoon: even the waitresses have told me the salads su!ck..

This is the most upcomming bar in Seattle! It is a great place to hang out and not just meet people, but develope friends! The Cheers type atmosphere is unmatched in Seattle. This is not just a local corner bar, people are going from all neighborhoods. The person who put in the negative review must have done something to irritate the bartender that they are not disclosing.They serve good drinks at a reasonable price! They don’t offer table service, you must go to the bar for orders. This is part of the atmosphere, no posh coctailers running around. I would encourage everyone to give it a try!Pros + Music, Clientelle, drink valueCons – , crowded at times

Went there for breakfast/brunch. The breakfast menu was interesting, not just your standard fare. I had migas, wife had eggs accompanied by a deep fried chicken breast topped with gravy. The food was excellent. Also, htey have a really good bloody mary The wait staff was decent. I would have rated them higher except for the kitchen prep time. I swear they must cook just one table’s order at a time. We literally waited for 50 minutes from the time we placed our order until the time we got it. Normally you would expect that the food would have gone cold or sat under a heat lamp with a wait that long, but it was hot, just cooked. Go figure.
