I go to EZ’s often to get the veggie burger. It’s best if you get it in the style of one of the other burgers or with avocado and mushrooms. If you get the frings (half fries, half onion rings), you have to be sure to tell them to include the chipotle sauce. It’s delicious, especially mixed with ketchup. The best malt is the chocolate, and the cherry shake is the best shake on this earth. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend at EZ’s is the margherita pizza. I’ve tried it twice and both times it was bland and flavorless. It’s a little crowded and sometimes that slows down service, but most of the time EZ’s is fast and tasty.Pros + Vegetarian options, Fast serviceCons – Crowded

I suppose I was expecting something spectacular in dining at Kerbey Lane for the very first time. While I lived in and visit Austin regularly, I never made it ’til this past Monday. We were seated quick enough, but, of course, we got there at about 1130pm, so I wasn’t too worried. Our server was nice enough, as servers go, too, but she wasn’t all that attentive. I had the migas, which, while they looked a little questionable, ended up being pretty solid. The place is super loud, though, even at 1130 or 12 at night, the crosses hanging everywhere are slightly unnerving, and the wait staff seems a little, well… untrained, maybe. As I stated, the waitress was nice, but she only came for a drink order, food order, and someone else delivered our food. Getting a refill was out of the question, and hot sauce for my migas wasn’t happening either.I’d probably go back if someone else was heading there, but it CERTAINLY doesn’t live up to its hype.Pros + Migas with black beans, I guess?

Great place. Went with 7 people and spent around $50 (w appetizers, no desserts). We sat outside on the patio; the ambience was just really fun with fun 70s and 80s music playing. The waiter was attentive. Food was delicious!Pros + food, price, serviceCons – wish there was a closer location!

My husband and I ate there with a couple of friends. I had the Tuna Melt (juicy and savory!) and hubby had a Double Flatty Burger (also excellent). The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. You can choose to eat in the dining room, which has the feel of a classic burger joint. Or you can go eat on the “Back Patio” which is a LARGE deck area with an assortment of tables and a HUGE bigscreen TV where they show sports games. If you eat out there, you can have your dog with you. They even have theme nights especially for people and their dogs. I wish I could eat there regularly, but I live too far away from Austin!Pros + excellent food, fun relaxed atmosphereCons – There are no Hubs close to where I live!
