Where is the Best Family-Friendly Dining in Dallas, Texas?

I have taken all my favorite family and friends to visit this wonderful restaurant as if it were my own private dining room complete with my own Mediteranean family. Each mouth watering dish is made fresh with a master chef’s usage of the Greek and Lebanese herbs and spices and is well worth any wait time. You won’t even realize you have been waiting as you gaze around the simple dining area at the creative use of colored bottles, plastered walls and the most beautiful capaccino machine I have ever seen. The Restaurant is right across the street from the Whole Foods market in a little strip center between some type of gas station and a convenience store. The conveniece store sells a lovely variety of wines which compliment the “bring your own bottle” policy of the restaurant. Come see for yourself, its a wonderful experience for your taste AND your pocketbook.Pros + Ambience, staff, food, best bakalava EVER.Cons – trying to make a menu decision, everything is scruptious

Let’s get one thing straightened out first… Cindi’s does serve alcohol. I know, I managed to spill my glass of wine before I had had more than 2 sips. But the glass was replaced and I wasn’t charged. It was a bit strange – normally I order waffles at Cindi’s and wine and waffles just don’t pair well. But it was Friday night, I’d had a hard week and I don’t drink beer. So I ended up with a grilled Reuben and a glass of house red, relaxed and unwound. Life was good. If you don’t have room for warm bread pudding, at least get one of their HUGE black and white cookies to go. More like flat cakes and perfect with a glass of milk at midnight.

I concur : THE BEST FRENCH DIP that I have ever eaten anywhere. It’s served on a toasted soft sub roll with fresh baked Prime Rib piled high on it (whatever color that you prefer) and steaming hot Au Jus to dip in. The whole thing comes with a choice of soup or salad, fresh home baked breads, and a lovely strawberry dipped in rich dark chocolate! It’s a wonderful feast even for my hearty appetite. My wife actually found this little place first, when she was looking for a nice quiet place to have “afternoon high tea with her girlfriends”. They were getting very tired of the “not so service-people and extremely high prices” that they encountered elsewhere (like a hotel that starts with an ‘A’) where they were usually having tea at downtown, so she looked around to see where else in town served High Tea. She found several including Eden. They started meeting for tea at a new place each week, but were finding very mediocre food and service with high prices, UNTIL they found Eden! She

The food is wonderful and the price is amazing for lunch. The chef/owners are health conscious. They use fresh ingredients, cook with very little oil, use only white chicken meat and offers brown rice. Service is wonderful and the staff are knowledgeable about the food (with one exception – possibly a new staff member).I normally do carry-out to to-go during dinner because of the afternoon sun which seems to invade everything seat in the house (unless you arrive after 8 pm or dine alone and sit with your back to the sun).Pros + Great food, Friendly service, Right priceCons – Too much sun/light
