Where is the Best Family-Friendly Dining in Sacramento, California?
When a company funds a political referendum that tries to take rights away from Americans, what kind of a company are they? Because the owner of Leatherby’s has given money to the Proposition 8 folks, I will never step into one of their stores! Although I am straight, I gotta stand up for my gay brothers and sisters!!
the food is wonderful. Why, well the apple gorgonzola salad is abfab, the penne arriabiatta, or however you spell the spicey sausage and penne dish is-well-spice is nice- and pretty darn good, too. the service is so-so, which is typical nowadays, but who cares as long as they bring the food in a reasonable amount of time and don’t interrupt you every few minutes asking if it’s any good. I’ve eaten here before, don’t remember what I had, but remember being it good enough for me to come back.
Since they opened my family and everyone we know gathers here for a crowd pleasing meal. They have the best salsa fresca (fresh chopped veggies) and everyone loves how you get a good portion of food for what you pay for. Plus they have such diversity in their cooking, lots of options for burrito enthusists. If you like the authentic style of mexican with fresh vegetables and tasty meats please try them cause they are a one in million.Pros + Awesome food, Diversity of tastes, InexpensiveCons – No Cocktail or bar., Can get loud
We found Bucc’a food to be pretty good and authentic, but if you are a couple that likes a variety of different foods, this is NOT the palce for you. Dishes arrive “family style” and in gargantuan proportions that easily feed six, so make sure you have a party of six!Food was good and I loved the decor.Sevice was above average also. Not a long wait for seating.We will go back……..but with 4 more friends or a pack of hungry teenaged boys with hollow legs!Pros + Good value for large groups/families, Ambience, ServiceCons – Not a good place for a couple(too much food!)
