This charming European restaurant provided the perfect setting for my son and daughter-in-laws wedding rehearsal dinner. The owners we very helpful and available to me in planning this event. The list of food options for the individualized event menu were extensive providing something for all diners. The wait staff was pleasant and interactive. My only suggestion would be that waiters be a bit more attentive to the tables between courses to be sure guest requests, drink orders etc. are readily addressed. The food was delicious and presented well. Many positive comments about the food by all in attendance. I would recommend Le Bateau Iver to anyone planning a dinner or banquet event.

You will really get a lot for your buck! I went to their lunch buffett and I good amount of choice for the price. Their Butter chicken had a lot of bones in them, but it was still very good. I’ve been to better indian restaurant buffets (Bombay Garden off Mowry and Indian Palace off Stevenson–both off 880 in Newark) but their price of $10-12 reflects their GIGANTIC and awesome food selection (about 20 different dishes!). I’m not sure why they’re not listed here at Citisearch… Back to Favorite Indian: I was impressed with the price, service and food for their lunch buffett.

My co-worker and I decided to go out for dinner. Our concierge recommended The Cosmopolitan. The walk was close to our hotel. When we got there we were seated very promptly even though we did not have a reservation. Our waiter was extremely nice and knowledgeable of the food. He never made us feel stupid for asking questions about the food. After ordering, our drinks and some amazing bread were served promptly along with my salad appetizer. Not too long after I was finished with my salad, our food came. The presentation was fabulous and the food was delicious! Some of the homemade ingredients and fresh produce were fantastic! I can’t wait to go back. With such a high quality of food, I was surprised to see my bill which was at least $20 less than what I had expected to pay for dinner that night. Pros + Friendly staff, fantastic food, comfortable ambienceCons – nothing

If your looking for good pasta try the Pasta Pelican Restaurant. The food is great. I always bring home left overs. They have a big selection, the staff are always nice and the cost is very reasonable. I would recommend them to others.
