My fiance’ commented that the food I cook at home tastes better, and I am no pro. Nothing exciting about the meal at all, and for the price, I would think it would have been more memorable and tasty. The she crab soup was the best part of the dinner and was very good. The atmosphere was nice, but it was so quiet in the restaurant, we had to whisper because we felt if we were talking at a normal tone we were screaming.

I went to Aldo’s with my fiancee for a romantic dinner which started out wonderfully. Our table was ready when we arrived, the waiter hospitable and helpful. There was a live pianist that sat in the middle of the quaint dining room which became more a hinderance for conversation as the night grew on but still romantic. I ordered the veal chops stuffed with spinach and fresh mozzeralla, the best I have ever ever eaten and on this exception alone, I would return again and again. The night was great until the end when they sat a lively group that arrived for a birthday party right next to us in the quiet dining area and they were so loud the pianist just left and took a break. Alltogether a pretty good dining experience. I would recommend it.

My husband and I went to this restaurant with another couple because we had heard it was award winning. I was very disappointed. There were only a few other parties in the entire place and this was a Friday night! We had really slow service and my crab cakes were terrible. They made me feel sick later that night. My husband had the filet mignon and his was really great. Our friends had the pork chops and seafood combination pasta. I tried the pasta and it was delicious. I think it’s better to go for their tea, not their dinner and would try their tea, but not eat a meal there again. Save your money and go somewhere else for dinner!
