Oh – My – Gosh – I thought I had died and gone to heaven. When I walked in I instantly hooked into the beat of “Bate Forte o Tambor ” – authentic Brazilian music. I was dancing while I was shown to my table. Be sure to reserve well in advance. I was told I would have to eat in the bar when I reserved, but they made a place for me in the main room when I came. I was literally dancing in my seat while waiting for my menu. The energy here is electric! Cool! Hip! All the waiters serve with a very happy smile and high energy. They have 4 high quality speakers placed around the room, and while they didn’t dominate the conversation, the music created the hypnotic effect of feeling you are on a sidewalk cafe/restaurant in Copacabana, with the Atlantic ocean waves crashing on the shore across the street. I had the Moqueca de Peixe and it was a PERFECT 10! Did I say it was perfect? It was DELECTABLE!!! While I was waiting for my food I made a trip to the rest room. During that tim

Went to happy hour here with some girls, have been here about ten times. Happy hour is from 4-6:30, $3 house wine and wells, $2 drafts and half price delicious appetizers. We arrived at 3:50 and the bar manager told us we had to wait the ten minutes for the happy hour pricing. His sarcasm and snooty attitude about the situation was a bad start to the evening. Luckily we had a very nice server who took over and she did a wonderful job. We had a pound of shrimp for $5 and then a meat, cheese, roasted garlic and cracker platter for $6 and lots and lots of $3 wine! Great girls night out, but the negative service by the bar manager left a worst taste in my mouth than the garlic .Pros + Great food and Value, One of the Best Happy Hours in TownCons – Spotty Service

Solera Was excellent .I thoroughly enjoyed my service, and the food. The Scallops where cooked to perfection, the risoto was just right, and who can complain about truffle mac? Our server, Magon, was friendly and knowledgeable. He anticipated our needs and did not rush us through our dinning expirience. I was, however, slightly disapointed by the wine menu. I was expecting more of a small artisan selection. Now this is not to say that the selection they have is not good, it was just not what I was expecing. My only other complaint was the tables seemed to be a littled close to each other and the door. We where nearly sitting in the kitchen, but all this is minor in comparison to the quality of our experience.Pros + Food and serviceCons – Slightly crowded

The food and service was great. We had a party of 7 and the service was pretty quick for such a large party. The food was top quality, but it ended up being a pretty expensive bill by the end of the night. Other than the price, absolutely no complaints. Great place to eat!Pros + Great food, great saucesCons – expensive menu
