Trios has done a complete 180 in the last year. Under new management, the new guy has improved the service 100%. While we used to go and laugh at the occasional dud employee, we have noticed that on the rare occasion when we still have a problem, that person isn’t there the next time we are in. Eveything else has tightened up as well. The quality control of the food has improved to near perfection, and I have noticed that the wines and drinks have gotten a lot more consistent. Contrary to what others have said, Trios is less expensive than almost all of its neighbors. If you expect $3 nameless bourbon well drinks, go to the suburbs. But Trios pours an honest drink at a very reasonable price.Happy hour, which runs from 5-7pm on Weekdays, puts all of their HUGE wine by the glass selection, all of their draft beers, and all of their amazing pizzas half off! This has to be the most generous happy hour in LoDo. I understand that they offer a different happy hour on the weekends, but I do

Most interesting and artsy bar in denver.the juxtaposition of old children’s dolls and strange campfire scenes hidden in the most unexpected of places around the bar, make it feel as if u followed the white rabbit down the rabbit hole, and maybe ate a little too much acid along the way. A huge bar top, with plenty of seating in the front room make for a great place to enjoy one of their great beer selection; while gazing curiously at whatever randomn film is being silently projected on the wall. The “art” displayed everywhere becomes a part of your experience, and the exhibits are always changing! The best part? There’s a large outdoor courtyard with campfires and log benches! The place is really thoughtprovoking! A great way to take your mind off the real world and have a beer!

After my recent disappointment with The Broker I was very pleased to find that Denver Dining can still be both affordable and offer great service. Surf and Turf for $35 was a great value. Not the best tasting steak in town and the lobster was just average but then again for $35 you cant go wrong.Pros + Surf & Turf for $35Cons – Steak was overdone

I have been to Cuba Cuba twice and loved it both times. First of all the decor and atmosphere is everything I love about going out to eat – intimate, unique and comfortable. The steak with chimichurri sauce is EXCELLENT and so is the ceviche, but I just wish the portion size was bigger (because it is so good). The mojitos are also very refreshing! The only downside is that they don’t take reservations, so there can be a wait. We tried to go there for V-Day and there was a 2 1/2 hour wait! I guess there is a reason for that though : )Pros + Food, atmosphereCons – Prices, portion size, can be a long wait

Most of the reviews on here are for Cafe Cero’s qualities as a restaurant, aptly, but I have only been in the late evening to enjoy it as a bar/lounge with my friends. The drinks are inexpensive and they aren’t watered down (usually it’s one or the other in Denver bars). The staff is so nice and friendly. It’s usually not very crowded, so we can get a whole room to ourselves. I love this place!Pros + inexpensive, nicely decorated, good location (for me, anyway), great staffCons – very loud on nights with musical guests
