Where is the Best Hair Salon in Raleigh, North Carolina?
This was my first time ever going to a salon in the Raleigh area. I normally go home once a year to get my hair done, but I just couldn’t stand it anymore. After searching around on Google, I found Samuel Cole. I was somewhat hesitant, considering their listed price of a regular wash/cut/style (I’m a poor college student) and the fact that I’m very particular with my hair. But my first visit was PHENOMENAL! Not only was the receptionist incredibly friendly, so was Nico. She greeted me with a handshake and a warm smile, and we immediately hit it off!Professional, friendly, and so upbeat, I couldn’t ask for anyone better! I absolutely LOVE my new haircut. It’s the first time I’ve ever been fully satisfied with it. She also really listened to my concerns and hairstyling habits and was able to suggest some tips that were easy to work into my hectic schedule.Love LOVE LOOOOVE her!The salon itself is very well-maintained, professional, and chic. Being new to the area, I stumbled upon this place, so in dire need of hair service (cut and color) I decided to give them a call to see if I could get worked in. The receptionist was able to fit me in asap. I arrived a little late because I got a little lost, and as soon as I arrived, the staff was amazingly friendly and my hair dresser “Andrea” took me right back. She had great conversational skills and it felt like she had been my hair dresser forever. The owner is extremely bubbly and made me feel right at home. My initial call was for a cut, be she squeezed me in for color as well. I am one who is very particular with my hair and color and Andrea did a GREAT JOB!! I don’t think I gave her enough credit. Thank you Andrea!!! Not to mention that on your first visit you get a discount of 20%. Tell me that not great!! I advise anyone to stop by and check it out!!! Pros + Great Customer ServiceCons – None
I have been going to this salon since they opened the doors, I get my color, pedicures, facials and eyebrow waxes there. I was told last week about the citysearch voting taking place. If your reading this post i want you to know this salon is AMAZING. There is so much attention to detail! The skills, decor and just the way they make you feel when you walk in the door is fabulous. They always make me my favorite- green tea with fresh mint and honey. Everyone always greets me and makes me feel so special- i have been to some salons and the other stylists never even smile. I have been going to Cameron Village’s Hair Color Xperts for awhile now. I have tried out all the stylists and I have absolutely loved it. Recently i have been going to the new girl Cassie and i have been very pleased but i wouldn’t be afraid to try anyone else if she couldn’t get me in. I have never walked out of there dissappointed. It has been one of the best places i have ever gone. I have tried out so many salons in Raleigh and have been very let down. I feel so comfortable when I am in there and I really love how clean it is and how sweet everyone is to EVERYONE!!! I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to go there and i have. If you are looking for a new hair stylist i would say hands down go to Hair color Xperts. I have never been more satisfied with my hair than i am now… THANKS HAIR COLOR XPERTS!!! Pros + You get a rose at the end, they call to remind you the day before of your appt. and they are open 7 days a week… Cons – Manager can be a little rude, but she doesn’t do
I moved here recently from NY and asked my neighbor who cuts/colors her hair because it always looked so good. She suggested I make an appointment with Michele Wright at Haircolorxperts at the Arboretum in Cary.I have always had a problem with fine, limp hair and was never able to achieve a ‘natural’ style. Michele listened to my concerns and discussed my current routine before she began to work. When she was done, I was thrilled! I couldnt believe that after all these years, someone finally got it right! Even my husband, who doesnt notice anything, was impressed with her work. I was so pleased with her that I made an appointment for color before I left the salon. I went back a week later and was equally impressed with the color Michele applied. I couldnt thank Michele enough for doing such a wonderful job and making me feel really good about my hair. If you are from the tri state area and are looking for an expert in the field, Michele is the girl you want to make an appointment
