Where is the Best Hair Salon in San Jose, California?
Atelier is the best salon ever..their customer service and professionalism is unsurpassed and the atmosphere despite being located at a very busy location is relaxing. I have been having my hair professionally colored & cut for almost 20 years and have tried many of the best salons in the Bay Area in San Francisco, the Peninsula and South Bay and have even tried other Aveda Salons but none seem to match Atelier. I have a very high standard of service and Atelier always seems to match and surpass my expectations. I have been a loyal customer of this salon since the day they opened and continue to go for my cut & color every 4-5 weeks. Karie (the owner) always makes sure I get taken care of and treats me as if I am a valuable client (even though the salon is busy and has many of them) and Alice & Armando make sure I get accommodated with appointments, etc. I currently see Dan Le for my cut & color and she is the only stylist who has successfully helped me grow out my super short h
THE BEST!!! No kidding!! I had my first visit to Alooks this morning. JOY gave the best haircut of my life! She is such a sweetheart and so easy to talk to. And very entertaining…No one else will ever cut my hair again! I cannot believe how great it looks!!First of all, everyone is so friendly and wonderful. Everyone is smiling and clearly happy to be there. The place is immaculate, bright and cheerful. The most amazing thing was that everyone in there had a style that looked perfect.I have never been in such a clean salon. There are no chemical smells or weird stuff flying around. I can honestly say this was the cleanest and most friendly salon I have ever been to. You know that feeling when you walk into a strange place and everyone gives you the “once over?” Not here…You walk in and everyone smiles and says hello. You’ll be offered a water and it will feel like you’re visiting friends. I just loved it so much!! I wish you could see the haircut JOY gave me!! Its so great!! ERI
I had been going to another salon for manicure’s and pedicures for sometime now (about 2 years) and always found it to be just a tad unsanitary. It was one of the places that has incense burning and debris on the floor. I had mentioned to a friend of mine back east the I was going to a salon for this procedure and asked me if the instruments were being sanitized or did I bring my own. Not knowing if the thier instruments were being sanitized after each use made me wonder if going back was a good idea. I’m borderline diabetic and need to take proper care of my feet and need a place that will sterilize instruments on every use. Upon entering American Male I felt like this was going to be a great experience. The environment was fabulous, bright and fresh and most of all very clean. We had gotten the manicure and pedicure combo and we were very much pleased that we were in a semi closed off room with a TV with remote. I’ve been going here for a few years now and Victoria is my regular stylist. She is awesome! The great part is that she is not the only one. When she has been unavailable, I usually see Janis. She’s just as awesome! I’ve also had Shawna and Raymond do my hair and they both did a great job as well. I’ve gotten to the point where I trust just about anyone here with my hair, and that’s saying a lot! Everyone here is very friendly and professional. This salon has a great atmosphere, unlike any other I’ve ever gone to. The head massage during the shampoo is to die for, and my favorite part of any visit. The complimentary hand massages aren’t bad either (that’s right Julina)! This is an Aveda salon so they only use Aveda products, which I love. They also offer complimentary beverages (beer, wine, tea) and cookies. I always look forward to every visit and you will too!
