Where is the Best Hamburger in Richmond, Virginia?
Dragged my rear end up into this Hardee’s on Sunday when I had probably been walkin up Midlothian for about 4 hours and my hair was started to get all burnt off from the sun. Waited in a line for twenty minutes and got real hongry dude. Had about 2 dollars so i went with the kiddie meal with this small cup of water. Tried to bum a couple more fries from the dude by the fry station but he tried to act like i wasnt there when i was clearly right there and i know he could hear me!!! He was scared and weak-looking, and pale. The place was nice and cool temperature-wise, and I called out to the manager to ask em what kind of A/C you got up in here. She said i looked nice and comfortable. Asked if she knew my brother in law who i know eats at a Hardees franchise, and she dealt with it. We talked about other topics, like when we talked about how much my feet were swollen which proves that she cares about the customer. No matter what the length of the line, the wait always takes longer than the meal itself. Never go there if you are on a limited lunch from work. The waiting area is the same area as where people use the buffet line to put fixings on the burgers and get drinks. Note – if you normally avoid buffets for reasons of food sitting out or kids hands everywhere, AVOID!The up side, the burgers are good.Pros + FoodCons – Long wait, buffet style fixings bar, silverware in bins
Okay, I will admit the hamburgers and the sandwiches are pretty stellar here. They are hearty and juicy fare without being too greasy. The staff however, is another matter. My guess is they are either disenchanted hipsters, or yankee transplants, or both. They act like its a chore to wait on you. They don’t even smile. You feel ashamed for even asking them for a coke. However, you will get very satisfying food here.Pros + Food will satisfy !Cons – The staff isn’t too friendly
This place is just down the street from me. I just moved here, and people raved about these in FLorida. They are great. They are SUPER fattening. I dont think I have ever seen more grease (its more than Mickey D’s), but the fries and onion rings are great. I had a chicken sandwich, and the chicken was 3 times the size of the bun. My family all had burgers that they loved. If you like caesar dressing, and are picky about it- its not for you.
