Where is the Best Hookup Spot in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania?
Went here couple of times. One time it was not even half full, barely anyone there. Great music though!!!Another time it was too packed, no room to dance nor sit. Still, great music but no room. Some girl got trashed, threw up everywhere and touched me with her gross hands :OOO. it was awful. Trendy but small place. They need to remove the tables after music starts so they can make it more dance-club-like. I had heard that 32 was “white hot.” So after shivering in line I was pretty confused when I entered. Where were all the beautiful ladies? It was a kind of grungy crowd of know it alls playing something called quizzo. And I got some major dirty looks for ordering an Appletini. Maybe I just got there to early, but I recommend Glam over this place.
Two dollar tuesdays are nice. The music selection is decent and the atomosphere is alright if you are trying to find someone to chill with. There are two rooms. The upstairs is usually a mix of dirty south meets the northeast and the downstairs has another bar with decent reggae music.Pros + cheap drinks on tuesdayCons – not enough room for breathing space
If you are looking for a new spot to spend your Friday night, I would give Bamboo a shot. The music was mostly good except for a poor 80’s montage in the middle of the night. The crowd is an interesting mix of 20-30 somethings professionals. The drinks are a bit pricey so make sure you drink every last drop, but it is worth a visit if you are tired of the same, tired rittenhouse and old city bars/crowds. Bottle service is available, but not required to get a table, which is a nice change from most local bars and lounges.Pros + Ambience, staff, new crowdCons – Pricey
