I’ve been coming to Bhojanic regularly for a while now. The food is just right when you get that craving for food that is spiced a little different from the mundane meals you get everyday in the U.S. It’s crazy that some people think the waitstaff is rude here. My significant other and I have sat for hours chatting with servers and the owners, who are truly great folks. The atmosphere is different from most Indian places and they even have great music on select nights. The drinks are great too! Check it out.Pros + Great AtmosphereCons – Parking Space is Limited on Busy Nights

My husband and I headed to Cafe Bombay for an evening out. First, the place was busy and small. The crowd looked to be the type to know good…

BESTINDIANFOODEVER.We have been here one time for lunch and the buffet was unbelievably great and tonight we thought that we would try their al a cart night time menu. Poonam, the nice lady owner, seated us and suggested that we get the dinner for two that includes a samosa for each, tandori chicken AND shrimp, lamb or chicken masala (mild curry unless otherwise requested), vegetable korma, fresh naan, basmati rice and desserts (oh MY!). The moment that you sit down you get papadams (think of them as tasty Indian chips) and a great cilantro/mint/pepper sauce (think of it as a not too spicy salsa) for a snack. When they offer to bring you more, just say no otherwise you will fill up on them instead of saving room for the other tasty goodies to come. The samosa is an almost greasless fried pyramid of potatoes, peas and spices that is served piping hot with a tamarind sauce (use the rest of the green cilantro sauce, or ask for more if you like a more spicy sauce) and is crazy goo

As a vegetarian, it’s great to be able to go out for lunch and have something besides a green salad. As a fan of Indian food, I’m not terribly impressed by Vatica. In the year or so I’ve been a regular, I’ve gotten very bored with the rather bland, mushy food and lack of variety. Rice, soup, potato curry, dal, vegetable, bread and raita…it never changes. In addition, I’ve clearly been pegged as a two-thali customer. After the second refill I’ve literally continued to sit for an hour while conversing, and no additional refill has been offered. Since about 2 oz of each item is provided with each refill, and since this is often my main meal, it’s really not worth the $12 to me. There are restaurants that I look forward to patronizing and restaurants that will do for an okay meal everyone can live with. This is definitely one of the latter.Pros + Vegetarian, dependableCons – Mushy, bland food; slow service

We just got back from an awesome dinner at Panahar. We got there at around 8pm on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy, but not packed and we were seated in just a couple of minutes. Our waiter was very friendly, and the owner, Mirza, was very attentive. He really wants everything to be impeccable, and to get to know you and make you feel welcome. We started off by sharing the shrimp appetizer (shrimp poori) and it was scrumptios! It was probably the best appetizer I’ve had in my entire time in Atlanta (3 years). It had 4 large shrimp and sauteed vegetables and you wrap it in their special poofy bread. It had such great flavors. Then we shared beef Dhaan-shaag ($11) and chicken Shaag Maang-sho ($10). They Dhaan-shaag was my favorite. I loved the flavors. It was a recommendation of our waiter and I was sketchy about it since it doesn’t have any vegetables in it and it’s described as sweet and sour and spicy, but it was really tasty. And the fact that you can BRING YOUR OWN ALCOHO
