Where is the Best Italian Food in Houston, Texas?

So, yes this isn’t THE BEST food in Houston. But sometimes going out is more than just having perfectly cooked pasta. They are so accommodating and the waiters give great service. There is a little 2 piece band that plays in the main dining room, and you feel like they’re playing just for you. It’s just a perfect setting for any kind of romantic date. I ordered spinach ravioli (very rich, which made it very romantic) and my fiance ordered porkchops. They were good. If you’re eating here, you’re not going as a food critic… you’re going b/c you’re in love with the person you’re with, or you’re bringing your family to have a great conversation. But don’t get me wrong about the food… I did crave the ravioli the next day I’m going for brunch today for the first time… I’ll let you know how it is! I highly recommend this place for people in love!Pros + Makes a perfect dae… no matter what day it is.Cons – okay, okay it’s not the BEST Italian food, but it’s really good.

My wife and I have been to Crapitto?s three times, and though she prefers Mia Bella by a small margin, I greatly prefer Crapitto?s. The restaurant itself is intimate ? a great place to take a date. If you have a larger party, try reserving the wine room. When the weather?s nice, the patio seating is great; at night, it can be romantic. Parking is difficult ? you can try to find a spot on the street, take your chances being towed/booted for parking in the lot across the street, or you can valet. I enjoy the Cappellini di Mare, but my favorite dish is the Crawfish Linguini with spicy alfredo sauce. It?s on the lunch menu, but I?ve requested it at dinner and the kitchen came through for me. Actually, it?s my favorite Italian dish in Houston (though it?s not a traditional Italian dish). The salads are good, as is the bread. I?m not a fan of olives, so I pass on the olive spread. Service has always been prompt and friendly. This is my favorite Italian place in Houston, and I pref

My first visit to Palazzo’s was when a co-worker suggested we go there for lunch a couple years ago and I’ve been a regular ever since. The food and atmosphere is wonderful – so I was obviously mad at my friend for not telling me about Palazzo’s sooner! As the word spread through our office, it became the favorite lunch spot for our staff and since it’s one of the few places that makes everyone happy (even our picky eaters!). Now we’re using their catering services for meetings and parties (very affordable).Another perk if you happen to live close by… they deliver!! Our regular delivery guy even takes care to separate the hot items from the cold items so that our desserts and salads arrive in delicious condition. When you go, be sure to start with the Romano Crusted Asparagus – amazing! For dinner, I like Chicken Marsala. Hubby always gets the Capellini Al Pomodoro and if you have a hearty appetite, the Southwest Chicken Lasagna. For pizza, their Pollo Pizza is our favorite.

The food is great. Period. The service was bungling a bit, drinks a little slow, wrong salads, wrong drinks. All taken care of pretty quick. Only reason I mention it was because it was so many times. Our table was near the kitchen and so we were nearly shouting to be heard a couple of times. The restaurant was very busy so I attribute it to that. An affable waiter that was a bit distracted. In spite of that he did his job and we did tip in the 20% range.First time there and was impressed with the taste and quantity of our food choices.Would recommend to anybody.Pros + Great food!Cons – Loud atmosphere, hard to talk
