The beautiful flowers on the flower boxes by the front door give you the feeling that this place gives only the best. The host staff is friendly and helpful. Each server greets you and cares for you as their own table, so even if your server has several other tables, you never a lack in service. The food, oh my gosh the food is unreal!! It is THE BEST ITALIAN food in the state of Texas. The marinara sauce is made fresh every day!! The servings are meant to be shared, and that’s an understatement!! The atmosphere is so layed back, you really feel like your at Christmas dinner with a real Italian Family in Italy! You truely feel like a part of the familia when you leave. After you gather your shopping bags (all the left over food) you are almost bombarded by the “Thank you”s and “Come Back and See Us Soon”s; I have to tell you that this is great- to actually be thanked for dinning here. We should be thanking Buca Di Beppo! Great food, Great service, Great feeling of familia!! HIGHLY RECC

Being a native New Yorker living in Houston, the one thing I consistently found myself missing was an Italian pastry shop. I grew up with rainbow cookies, black & whites, sfogliatelle, cannolis, macaroons…all sorts of wonderful desserts that just don’t seem to be offered down here in Houston (in spite of a large NY metro transplant crowd). Then I found Drew’s Pastry Place and it brought back memories of my childhood. His pastries and cookies are absolutely amazing (he just started making my favorite, rainbow cookies, and is perfecting his black & whites as we speak) and when I came in for the first time today he personally came out to greet me. It is an amazing family business with superb offerings. Not only does he do the cookies and pastries, he also does cakes (including wedding), pies, there is gelato available, all sorts of coffee and tea, and now a lunch hour as well with pizza and other things. My only gripe is that I live in Katy and he is located up on 249 and Louetta…but

Although the location on Kirby makes me feel out of place…lots of older men with two younger women on their arms…and overdressed…the food is always good. Feel like smacking these people in the head and saying…it’s a chain for cryin out loud! The bellinis are tasty and very potent! Be prepared to pay 40 bucks for Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio when you can get it on your own for less than 20. Typical markup in a restaurant I guess. Be prepared for a long wait on the weekends but you can occupy your time in the bar having some of those wonderful bellinis!Pros + Quality, Service, BellinisCons – Crowd, Attitude, Price

We have passed by this wonderful place every time we drove home from the Galleria so we figured it was time to finally make it in. Service was great from second we stepped out of our cars. Hostess was super nice as well as our waiter Gerardo. I realize now after looking at the city search page the owner was there and greeted us as well. Food was great. Nice sized portions. My wife is vegetarian and there are quite a few things she was able to order. I got the grilled chicken with olive oil. It as really good. The butter cake someone else mentioned was great as well. Maybe too big for one person though. I recommend making reservations. The place was almost full on a Wednesday night. i can’t imagine what it is like on a weekend. The pricing was really fair. Honestly it might only be a dollar or 2 more the macaroni grill. Mixed drinks have a fair fair price and are quite large. Pros + Great service, great food, great selectionCons – A little hard to get to since is by the Galleria
