Where is the Best Jewelry in Minneapolis, Minnesota?
I have to admit, it?s hard for me to write this review. Twin City Diamonds (Consumer Direct Jewelers) is the kind of find that you really want to keep all to yourself. But for their sake as well as yours, I guess I’m willing to share. I’ve worked with Twin City Diamonds on a number of specialty and custom projects. They are a rare combination of jeweler, artisan and goldsmith. The small company feel is just that, they discretely design and manufacture for some of the best known names in the business! They do all work on site, using the latest technology with people you enjoy working with. The entire staff is thoroughly skilled and take great pride in their work, finish on time as promised, even in the most challenging projects. They are flexible and helpful – not even batting an eye at last minute changes. While some of my jobs have been what I would consider small, I never had the feeling that I was taking a backseat to some of their larger clients. My most recent project
I had been searching for an engagement ring to give to my now wife. I had been all over the city and knew next to nothing about diamonds. At the time I had a job that kept us apart for months at a time. I ended up dragging my heels and found myself in a time crunch to get this thing picked out, because I wanted to propose before my next trip. I’d heard from a friend to try Continental Diamond….that they are the “best.” So I went in 2 days before I had to leave thinking there is no way I could pull this thing off. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a nice salesman named Jimmy. I explained to Jimmy my dilemma and that I knew nothing about diamonds and was skeptical of the information I had received thus far. He immediately taught me about the “4 C’s” of diamonds. Color. Clarity. Cut. Carat. He then proceeded to physically show me the differences between these items. We hashed out what it was I was looking for. We decided quality and clarity over size.
