From the names carved on the wall (some dating to the 70’s) to the ‘wall of bras’ around the stage, you know you’re in for a good time as soon as you enter the Little Bear. Always great music, fantastic off-the-diet-tonight food and lots of … scenery. 😉 If the service is lacking, it’s due to the sheer number of people who have already found this place. Don’t miss a chance to go!

As a rebutal against all of the one star reviews let me just say this. First, unless your are going to see an overpriced show at fiddlers, red rocks or pepsi center wake up there just isn’t going to be large seating areas. Second, there is hardly a concert that goes by without anyone sneaking in joints or long lines at the bar. Additionally, this venue is a great place to catch live acts that tour exclusively for the fans and a place where tickets are less than $30 dollars. Drinks here are not too expensive compare $7 dollar MGD at the mammoth to 5 dollar Guiness at the Gothic. Another upside is that lines are usually short in contrast to other reviews on this location. I have been to at least 20 shows here and at most wait in line ten minutes. Finally, unless you are seeking a high class venue with $10 martini’s and want to listen to Cher the Gothic is an all around great local venue with a wide range of talent.P.S. The Rose (as the locals call it) is still by far the best Country bar in Denver. The Stampede is D-Bag central on Wednesdays, The Cowboy Lounge is, well, Lodo. The Rose has big name and up and comers concerts, good people, and decent dancing…If it’s late enough to where the floor isn’t packed. When the Stock Show is in town, that is the time to be there…Granted there are tons of weekend warriors, and drugstore cowboys…It’s still a good place to go. The parking is a little if though. Get there early enough to where you don’t have to park on the street or in the dark lot to the east of the main lot. Pros + ConcertsCons – Parking

The BB’s sound system needs to be updated. I’ve been a couple of times and between the audience’s talking, noise from the bar, and poor sound system couldn’t hear the band well at all.
