Wow, If you haven?t tried the empanadas, go now. I went on the recommendation below and they are fantastic! LOTS of meat in them and the perfect mild blend of not so spicy spices. Their Cachapa was awarded by D magazine for breakfast ( which they serve all day AND D voted them best Latin lunch a few years back. On Citysearch they got the best of in Bakery and once you walk in you will know why. Beautiful pastries and breads all displayed next to the seating area so you can decide what to take home after your meal for that midnight snack. From all of the authentic Latin food places in the Dallas city, this has the largest variety of cakes, pastries, breads and dishes. This really is a must try, I don?t know why more people haven?t written a review on them. Perhaps they want to keep it their secret! Word is out! Go now while you can get a seat!! Pros + Did you know they have FREE WI FI as well? Great place!Cons – Easy to pass, it’s right after the cosmic cafe on oak lawn

I first read about Monica’s in Eddie Garza’s “Veggie Guy” feature in the Observer. I wanted to love it. I love their specials ($0.75 margaritas on Wednesdays)! I love that they have a special section…

I love the burgers here. I decided to try them after they made the Top 50 list in the Texas Monthly magazine. My husband and I are determined to try all 50 burgers and so far, this has been our favorite. The only negative is the inconsistency in food quality and mediocre service. I live in Houston but will travel to Dallas on the weekend just to get a burger from this place. Sometimes when I come, the lettuce and tomatoes are soggy and the fries are cold; while others the food is perfect. You can tell that the staff doesn’t like complaints so I often will just keep the food even when it is of poor quality. After driving all the way to Dallas to eat here, I would really appreciate hot and fresh food because it cost me a heck of a lot more to eat this burger than what the staff is aware of. I am sure many people are going through extra lengths to patronize this establishment due to the Texas Monthly article. If they would focus more on consistent food quality and friendlier ser

My friends and I sought the best burger in Dallas. AD won. The meat was our favorite out of 6 burgers. Although I will say that the burger at Hully and Mo’s had the best bun and the fries were excellent if you like crispy. If you could put the meat from AD on the bread from Hully and Mo’s that would be a BURGER. Also the sports bar atmosphere at Hully and Mo’s was more to my liking.Pros + juicy, juicyCons – nothing

I go to this Thai Zone place very often for lunch during weekdays since my office is about 5 minutes away. My favorite lunch dish is Pad Kee Mow chicken and Yellow curry fried rice. 3 stars spicy (medium spicy) is what I can handle. The daily lunch special comes with a cup of vegetible soup. And for $1.00 more you can add an eggroll to your dish. I’ve tried many thai places in DFW but this is the best of the best. Bring someone special to this place and you will like it. Enjoy great food with affordable price in this nice restaurant is a smart choice.Pros + Nice decor…affordable and great food.
