Just had Wild Sushi for the first time-5 minutes from my house-AMAZING!!!! Hawaiian Roll exceptional! My friend had the Teriyaki Steak and it was like butter! We love our waitress, Mary-the whole staff is very friendly! We had Coconut Shrimp for an appetizer, freshest shrimp I’ve tasted in a very long time. This is a place that will be one of my favorite dinner spots! So glad they opened up. Right on Western Center and N Beach, next to Albertson’s – 5 minutes from my house in Keller. Wonderful! Pros + Fresh Sushi & Great StaffCons – NONE

At first glance on the inside, Back Porch seems like a typical bar/tavern, but it has a real down home feel that makes you comfortable. The first time, I went there with some friends from work for lunch. I was expecting typical bar food that would be adequate but nothing special. I was very surprised to find that the food is anything but typical. It is extremely good, and appears to be made in house and generally not pre-packaged. The chicken-fried steak is a pleasant surprise, not made from a frozen pre-breaded beef patty like many bars, but was a real honest-to-goodness chicken-fried steak. The crispy onion rings are also a treat. I have been two more times since that first visit, and even liked it well enough to take my wife and kids. I highly recommend “The Back Porch”. You should try it yourself so you can be surprised by how great the food is.

This place has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. The food is good, consistent quality, awesome chili, but I wouldn’t say that is the reason to go there. The wait staff has been nice, courteous and responsive, but I wouldn’t say that is the reason to go there either. I would say the reason to go to Tolbert?s is that it is different, an authentic feel in a city metro area in need of authenticity. The Historic Main Street Grapevine area has the great feel that the outdoor malls try to replicate but it has 100 years of history behind it.I would definitely recommend Tolbert?s and I would recommend leaving a little time to window shop the unique area around it as well.As far as recommendations, the chili is what they are most famous for, so give it a try. It goes really well with a cold beer.Pros + Ambiance, ServiceCons – Busy to get into during Grapefest and Main Street Days
